WAREHOUSE ASSISTANTS

Responsibilities

• Streamlines shipping and transportation processes through effective use of the equipment
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders as required or instructed by management
• Use the General Forklift and High Reach Truck to perform daily functions
• Perform all stacking in a safe manner and not higher than set storage height
• Responsible to keep the floor of the warehouse clean and dry and respond quickly in case of spillage or hazard
• Ensure all racking, packing and labelling of products are done in accordance with business expectations
• Ensure all offloading and loading of stock are done correctly and in a safe and timely manner
• Verify and communicate weighbridge information for all stock incoming and outgoing, and ensure all documentation are recorded and filed as required
