Warehouse/ production - Operations Business Function

Storage of raw/stock material. Maintain inventory of warehouse. Process products on the cutting machines and other processes. Packing finished/ semi finished goods. Loading shipments. Team player. Processing work orders in line with our SOPs. Planning work load. Health & Safety - maintain housekeeping / 5's standards in your area to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Assist in training new starters/apprentices in line with on site training matrix. To ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management in your area (Storage/Location/Packing). Accountability for your own safety and the safety around you, and not interfering with health & safety implemented by the company in and around the workplace. Perform daily checks on all handling equipment i.e. forklift, overhead cranes, saws and slings. Escalate to team leader any findings and propose solutions.
