Description

Responsibilities: Supervises and coordinates activities of warehouse and shipping employees byperforming the following duties.

• Train employees on safety, equipment and processes• Schedule assignments and overtime (when needed)• Plans layout of warehouse and storage areas while taking into consideration: turnover, size,weight, and related factors of items stored• Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and todetermine adequacy of stock levels• Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stockcontrol records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow• Issues written and oral instructions• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies andprocedures• Create and maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances• Investigate and correct er...
