Location: Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 8PB
Rate: £15.19 per hour plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 6:00am–3:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch). Occasional bank holiday cover and weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities
- Work within a team of three operators to load and unload curtainside vehicles scheduled for waste transfer.
- Transfer waste containers from various locations around the site for preparation for waste transfer.
- Operate machinery including vertical and horizontal balers for cardboard and plastic, a general waste compactor, and pallet wrapping palletizer (training provided).
- Perform manual handling tasks as required by the nature of the job.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift licence – Counterbalance
- Full UK driving licence
