Water Plant Operator (Day Shift)

Hours of Work: Weekends 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM ( with additional hours during the week if needed ) Opening Date: August 14, 2024 Closing Date: Until Filled Hiring Salary: $23.12 – $30.00 per hour (Dependent on Qualifications) General Statement of Job Duties Under occasional supervision, supervises, plans and coordinates the functions of the Laboratory, following applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety. Maintains laboratory equipment and systems. Reporting major activities through occasional meetings. Performs related technical work as required. Reports to the Filter Plant Superintendent. Minimum Training and Experience Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by formal training, specialized advanced training in water filtration plant operations, plus two years of experience in plant operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
