Water Treatment Operator - NW Water Treatment Plant

Responsibilities Brunswick County Public Utility is currently accepting applications for a Water Treatment Operator to join our Northwest Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Brunswick County's Northwest WTP is a 24 million gallon per day (MGD) drinking water treatment facility located in Northern Brunswick County near Leland. This facility is currently being expanded to 48 MGD and is in the process of adding reverse osmosis as part of the water treatment process. The Water Treatment Operator is responsible for performing highly technical and specialized work related to the Northwest Water Treatment Plant and associated distribution system, with the goal of providing overall high-quality drinking water to Brunswick County. Work involves the operation of water treatment plant processes and related equipment, including: Collecting and testing water samples.
