**Description**
**SUMMARY:**
Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on M240D machine guns and other associated equipment, mounts, squibs, CAD/PAD, and shop support items in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and the PWS.
**MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:**
+ Performs cleaning and corrosion treatment on gun system components.
+ Removes and replaces aircraft installed weapons systems components and equipment.
+ Removes and installs guns.
+ Perform flightline functions including preflight and postflight weapons requirements to include guard duties as directed.
+ Document all inspection and maintenance actions in aircraft forms and IMDS.
+ Follows established armory and maintenance room security procedures.
+ Complies with flightline munitions accountability requirements IAW AFI 21-201.
+ Performs Red X and IPI inspections.
