Weekend Supervisor (Registered Nurse Preferred)

POSITION PURPOSE:

Oversees a group of dedicatied nurses, ensuring they can provide the highest quality of care for residents. Invoiced in monitoring skills & training. Working with doctors, obtaining medications, & maintaining accurate records of treatement. Ensures that resident's personal care needs are being met in accordance with Residents' wishes & Care Plan Objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:


+ Supervise nursing unit & directing staff. Coordinate effective use of personnel, supplies, equipment, & facilities; obtain mediations & medical records to provide safe, efficient, & theraputic care to residents.

+ Ensures that residents' who are unable to call for help are checked frequently. Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs & ensures call lights are within reach of resident.

+ Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.
