**Job Description**
This role focuses on the production and fabrication of structural steel components for commercial buildings. You will use MIG welding techniques to assemble and weld columns, I-beams, and architectural steel elements while interpreting blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accuracy and quality.
**Responsibilities**
+ Produce and fabricate structural steel components for commercial buildings, including columns, I-beams, stairs, and rails.
+ Perform MIG welding on structural steel in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
+ Fit up steel components accurately prior to welding, ensuring all parts are aligned and assembled correctly.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to determine specifications, dimensions, and weld requirements.
+ Use grinding tools and other fabrication equipment to prepare, finish, and refine welded assemblies.
