**Job Description**
This role focuses on fabricating and welding tanks and other industrial equipment using blueprints and flux core processes in a heavy industrial environment. The position is primarily hands-on welding with a strong emphasis on structural work and precise blueprint interpretation, with opportunities to take on fitting responsibilities once familiar with established processes and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret blueprints and basic welding symbols to accurately fabricate tanks and industrial equipment.
+ Perform welding operations primarily using flux core processes, with approximately 90% flux core welding and 10% GMAW (including some metal core).
+ Execute structural welding in multiple positions, including 3G and 4G, in accordance with D1.1 standards.
+ Use .045 diameter wire and appropriate welding settings to achieve high-quality, structurally sound welds.
