**Job Title: Structural Welder**
**Job Description**
This position focuses on fabricating and welding structural steel assemblies with a high level of precision. You will work from detailed blueprints to lay out, cut, fit, and weld structural components within tight tolerances, contributing to the production of prefabricated medical modules in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret structural steel blueprints to determine layout, dimensions, and welding requirements.
+ Pass a 3G 1-inch plate test per AWS D1.1 using FCAW to demonstrate welding proficiency.
+ Lay out, cut, fit, and weld structural steel components to within 1/16-inch tolerance.
+ Cut miters and copes using a hand torch to prepare steel for assembly.
+ Drill holes and fabricate steel subassemblies according to engineering drawings.
+ Perform stick welding as the primary process and complete MIG welding as needed.
