Role could be performed by an employee with a high school education plus a welding certification and several years of experience.

Checks specific component for proper dimensions and quality.

Reads shop blueprint drawings for weld specifications and job safety analysis work instructions to determine various parts to weld/install/assembly or by instructions of supervisor.
