**Job Title: Welder Fitter**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on performing TIG and MIG welding on a variety of assemblies, supporting a journeyman welder with fit-up and fabrication, and working with exotic materials such as alloys, stainless steel, and Inconel. You will read and interpret blueprints, use fixtures, and operate hand tools to produce high-quality welds and fabrications on site four days per week in El Cajon, CA.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on a wide range of assemblies.
+ Assist a journeyman welder with fit-up and fabrication tasks according to engineering drawings and blueprints.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to determine weld locations, parameters, and sequence.
+ Use fixtures and jigs to position and secure parts accurately for welding.
