Welder in Glasgow

We are seeking experienced Welders to join a leading shipbuilding programme. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling and installing structural components that form part of complex naval vessels, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Working within a skilled production team, you will utilise a variety of welding processes and techniques to support the construction of world‑class defence platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding activities on carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium materials.
• Perform welding using a range of processes including: Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), Manual Metal Arc (MMA), Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), Automatic and Semi‑Automatic Welding, Resistance/Stud Welding.
• Weld in multiple positions to approved procedures and quality standards.
