Opportunity Description
**Mig Welder - Assembler**
**Shift:** 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
**Pay:** $17-$18.00/hr depending on experience
**Location:** Westside, Jacksonville FL (32221)
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Welder Assembler to join our team in constructing safe rooms. This role involves a combination of MIG welding and various assembly tasks, including building wall panels, installing flooring, ceilings, doors and painting. You'll utilize hand and power tools to measure and cut materials accurately. The position requires teamwork, as you will work in groups of 4-6, following drawings which you will be taught to read.
**Responsibilities**
+ Spend approximately 50% of the time welding and 50% on other shop tasks, initially focusing on panel building.

+ Construct rooms by building wall panels and installing all components of a functional space from shipping containers or from scratch.
