Opportunity Description

JV Recruitment is currently on the hunt for a welder/boilermaker in Geelong. 
 
It will be a factory based, Shot/Mig structural steel welding role, focused on building structures for large commercial sites. The hours will be 2pm - 10pm, Monday - Friday.

This is an  immediate start position . The client has several major projects in the pipeline, meaning the work has potential to contue well in to 2025.

A Cert 3 in Boilermaking/Welding is essential for this role


ON OFFER:

  • $45-$50 per hour + super + coinvest
  • Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
  • Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
  • On-going roles
    • ROLE DUTIES:
  • Mig/Shot Welding of Heavy Structural Steel
  • To be able to weld all positions
  • Working unsupervised
  • Reading and Interpreting Engineering drawings
  • Inspect ...
    • Casual Construction Trades Workers
