Opportunity Description
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical / Welding / Metallurgical Engineering)
- Preferred: International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification from IIW / Alternative: Master’s Degree in Welding Engineering
The Welding Engineer will be assigned at the client Project Office to review vendor documents such as Welding book (WPS, PQR & Weld Map), Welder Qualification and other related welding procedures in accordance with the project requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities (but not limited to)- Review of vendor documents – Welding book (WPS, PQR & Weld map), Welder Qualification and other related welding procedures in accordance with Drawings, Technical requirements & Project specifications
- Provide technical clarifications related to welding
- Attend meetings with vendor to sort out the clarifications related to welding book comments.
