Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Social Development Department is now inviting applications for the following Full-Time Term position based out of La Ronge, SK:

WELFARE INTAKE WORKER

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:

Responsible for the intake of social assistance clients and issuing of cheques and purchase orders to the band membership;

Conduct interviews, home visits, filing, maintaining proper records;

Interpret Social Development Policy and regulations to clients for their understanding of the purposes, services, procedures and requirements of the program.

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Minimum 1-year certificate in Social Services or related field;

One to two years’ experience and/or training in Social Services;
