Overview

Location: Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. Start Date: ASAP / (Insert start date). Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential for extension). Pay: £157.66 - £170.00 per day (dependent on experience). Language Requirement: Fluent Welsh Speaker.

The Role

• Full classroom responsibility for a Year 5 class within a Welsh-medium school.
• Delivering the curriculum through the medium of Welsh.
• Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Planning, preparing, and assessing work in line with curriculum guidelines.
• Supporting pupil progress across all areas of learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Fluent Welsh language skills (spoken and written).
• Recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5.
