WestJet Accounts Payable Expert

Become a pivotal part of WestJet as an Accounts Payable Expert. This in-person role focuses on optimizing AP processes and supporting financial data integrity within a high-volume environment.
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will report to the Manager and work up to five days a week to enhance efficiency across the invoice-to-pay cycle. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams to tackle issues, streamline processes, and contribute to system enhancements for better results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process invoices and maintain vendor records efficiently
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams
• Conduct thorough reconciliations of AP-related accounts
• Utilize reporting tools to analyze AP performance
• Assist in preparing financial reports for monthly and yearly closes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
