Opportunity Description
Experience the harvest season with Mission Hill Family Estate as a Harvest Assistant Winemaker in West Kelowna, British Columbia. Focus on quality assurance for premium Chardonnay and Bordeaux programs during this position.
This role offers you the chance to work alongside top winemakers, providing critical support from fruit intake through to barrel preparation. With at least three harvests under your belt and a degree in Oenology or Food Science, you'll help maintain high standards for juice processing and fermentation monitoring. Join a dedicated team and play an important role in the estate's winemaking process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate fruit receival and processing
• Taste juices to make pressing decisions
• Oversee racking and sorter performance
• Monitor fermentations and conduct sensory assessments
• Provide guidance to the cellar crew and manage operations
Requirements:
