We’re recruiting a compassionate and resilient Domestic Abuse Refuge Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting women and families affected by domestic abuse. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping individuals rebuild their lives in a safe, supportive refuge environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide trauma-informed one-to-one and practical/emotional support to women and families within refuge accommodation Carry out needs and risk assessments, support planning and safeguarding in line with procedures Build positive, therapeutic relationships while promoting independence, safety and wellbeing Support service users with housing, welfare, legal and multi-agency advocacy (Police, Courts, Social Services etc.) Maintain accurate records, case files and reports using internal systems Ensure refuge accommodation is safe, welcoming and well managed Support access to specialist...
