Woodworking Associate

The Woodworking Associate position is an integral part of Stance’s delivery of custom wood and plywood products, including drum tables, that consistently meet or exceed our customers’ requirements. The position requires a depth of woodworking experience and strong adaptability, communication, and problem solving skills to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Hourly range: $25 to $30 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow standard work order processes and procedures including maintaining detailed, accurate and timely records and following all quality standards.
• Read and interpret shop drawings for each custom order raising issues if standard processes or materials may need to be modified
• Build case goods and other Stance products including:
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
