Work Preparation Engineer

Job Description

• Assess incoming orders, determine necessary technical expertise, specialized materials, and tools, and identify potential risks with appropriate mitigation measures.
• Material requirements planning (MRP): Taking account of spares in the inventory, identifying additional needs and scheduling orders for on time delivery.
• Follow the work progress / manage daily meetings with the project teams.
• Perform damage/defect assessment, prepare report, propose repair/rectification solutions and liaise with Tech Support network counterparts for maintenance beyond O & I levels; provide associated repair costing.
• Manage technical solutions for unplanned work scope, including troubleshooting, repair, obsolescence management and other deviations from the production plan.
