Work Study Peer Liaison for QPOC

The Pride Center at Bridgewater State University is to support LGBTQIA+ students and their peers, and to foster a campus climate of inclusion and equity.

The Peer Liaison for the Queer People of Color (QPOC) group will play a pivotal role in cultivating a welcoming and affirming environment for all student attendees. This position will serve as a resource, advocate, and peer group facilitator within the Pride Center, helping to ensure that students find community, support, and connection.

Peer Liaisons set the tone for daily activities in the Pride Center and support gatherings, programs, and events.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plan and facilitate weekly or biweekly Queer People of Color (QPOC) Group meetings, fostering a supportive, welcoming, and respectful atmosphere open to all students.
