Workshop foreman - trailer repair

A leading logistics group is looking for a skilled, hands-on Workshop Foreman to run trailer repairs and maintenance for its fleet of tautliner and tipper trailers.

This is not a truck repair role. All trucks are under full maintenance contracts but you will use your diesel mechanic knowledge to accurately report faults when needed. Your focus is trailers only supervising repairs, managing the workshop, and ensuring uptime.

Duties: Lead daily operations in the trailer workshop and wash bay Oversee trailer repairs (tautliners and tippers), ensuring all work is up to standard Allocate tasks, manage schedules, and supervise workshop and wash bay staff Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment Keep job cards and repair records up to date Enforce safety compliance across all activities
