Opportunity Description
Elevate patient care as a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence with Care Partners. Provide essential consultations and lead interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes in the community.
This role focuses on delivering specialized wound and ostomy care both in clinics and the community. As a NSWOC, you will empower patients in self-management and actively contribute to holistic assessments. Your expertise will guide clinical strategies and professional development as you collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat patients with wounds and ostomies
• Perform lower-leg assessments, including ABPIs
• Apply evidence-based practices in wound management
• Conduct conservative sharp wound debridement and bandaging
• Collaborate with nursing team for optimal patient care
Requirements:
• RN diploma and current CNO registration
• Graduate of NSWOCC with wound experience
