Job Responsibilities
A. Workplace Safety & Health (Construction)
Act as the appointed WSHO registered with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Ensure compliance with WSH (Construction) Regulations and all relevant subsidiary legislation.
Develop, implement, and maintain the Project WSH Management System.
Conduct daily site safety inspections covering: Work-at-height activities
Lifting operations
Excavation and earth retaining works
Confined space works
Electrical works
Review and endorse Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Method Statements.
Organise and conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and WSH committee meetings.
Investigate accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near-misses submit incident reports to MOM when required.
Enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities.
Coordinate safety matters with subcontractors and ensure compliance across all trades.
