Become a leader in Indigenous community engagement with WSP. Your role will drive impactful engagement in environmental projects across British Columbia and Yukon.
WSP is looking for an Indigenous Community Engagement Leader to facilitate relationship building and lead essential projects in collaboration with Indigenous Nations. Your comprehensive experience will ensure community-led approaches influence environmental assessments and permitting. Work closely with scientists and cultural specialists dedicated to integrating Indigenous Knowledge into all phases of project development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and promote community-focused engagement plans
• Conduct Indigenous Knowledge and Traditional Land Use studies
• Evaluate project impacts on Indigenous rights and interests
• Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in community workshops and field programs
