Opportunity Description
Lead and inspire male-identifying youth at Whitby House as a Team Leader in the Youth Transitional Housing Program. Create a supportive atmosphere that enhances life skills and prepares youth for independent living.
This temporary contract role offers an opportunity to work closely with youth aged 16 to 18, providing them with essential life skills while managing a dedicated staff team. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will coordinate summer programming and uphold organizational policies. Flexibility with scheduling is required as you'll be working days, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach and mentor staff effectively in daily operations
• Oversee programming and ensure valuable opportunities for youth
• Ensure adequate staffing and adherence to program policies
• Maintain accurate documentation and facilitate meetings
• Support the intake process for new referrals
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a residential setting
